Girl and the Sun was started in 2015 when the founder saw the need for beautiful and accessible destination styles at an affordable price point. She wanted to create a brand for all women that showcased neutral tones, capturing the feeling of a destination holiday even while at home. After 16 years of working in the fashion industry, it was also about creating something that she couldn't really buy for herself anywhere else.
Her goal for Girl and the Sun was always to create a meaningful and intentional brand. They strive to produce quality products that can be worn for many years with a message of inclusivity and freedom. They are continually working to improve all elements of the brand with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact.
